I went on a bit of a distro binge and installed 3 different Linux distributions on my testing drive.
First up was Fedora 9.

The positives:

the install was super easy and FAST (maybe 13 minutes)
the default desktop looks sweet, very nice artwork
the latest and greatest Gnome desktop
the system is pretty responsive and snappy
